JOB SUMMARY

The Payroll Manager is responsible for all aspects of the payroll process. The Manager would prepare and oversee payroll for weekly and bi-weekly payroll. The Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance of the payroll database & payroll archives and the continued maintenance of our in-house High Line P2K payroll database. The position requires the ability to work independently and multi-task while meeting deadlines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

	Processes weekly and bi-weekly payrolls by entering data regarding wages and deductions, and posting to payroll records.
	Review computed wages and corrects errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings.
	Prepares, organizes, issues and distributes paychecks to departments.
	Prepares the weekly Federal & State payroll tax submissions and direct deposit/positive pay files.
	Prepares the quarterly Federal & State tax returns.
	Maintains and prepares reports for the 401(k) plan & contributions therein.
	Prepares payroll reports as requested using database reporting tool.
	Prepares and maintains the monthly reconciliation of payroll accounts to the general ledger.
	Maintains accurate payroll files and records.
