Reporting to the IT Manager, the Dynamics AX Developer will:
 |
Lead in the implementation of Dynamics AX modules. |

Work with current on staff developers to migrate current home grown systems into Dynamics AX ERP. |
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
|
Perform integration of Dynamics AX modules with external SQL Server data and applications. |
|
Maintain AX to support and enhance the business as needs develop. |
|
Tailor screens to improve end-user productivity. |
|
Write customized reports for all modules as required using X++ and/or SQL reporting services. |
|
Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications. |
|
Document the system. |
|
Prioritize work and spend time on most important, value-adding areas. |
Qualifications:
|
Minimum of 3 years’ experience configuring, customizing and developing in Dynamics AX, including AX 2009. |
|
Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures and concepts. |
|
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of educational and on-the-job training. |
|
Current certifications in Dynamics AX Development Introduction and MorphX Solutions Development. |
|
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and SSRS report development required. |
|
NET and JAVA experience a plus. |
|
Web development skills a plus. |
|
Accounting and/or Food Processing/Manufacturing experience a plus. |

This involves uploading our data to the registry, pushing the data to the required customers and following through until the Synchronization process is successful. Responsible for new GS1 initiatives to ensure we are not only in compliance but our system processes are modified accordingly. This involves a great deal of research and co-ordination with the IT department to update our internal processes and tables to meet the needs of the GS1 initiatives. Researches, follows up and makes recommendations to the in-house team to ensure we are compliant with Industry Best practices in regards to EDI and Data Synchronization. |
